Blitz Entertainment Ltd - Terms and Conditions IMPORTANT Please read this carefully i. Blitz Entertainment Ltd is a professional theatre company; as such we endeavour to give total client satisfaction in all our business arrangements, corporate events, theatrical, film and television performances. To enable us to do this we ask you to read these notes carefully. ii. There are no minimum numbers for any Blitz Entertainment Ltd performance. However below are listed limits for maximum numbers for murder, mystery and other interactive performances : · Murder Mystery Evenings 100
THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE MAXIMUM. - Where audience numbers are found to exceed this maximum, Blitz Entertainment Ltd reserve the right to increase the agreed fee without consultation, commensurate to the increased numbers by the imposition of a surcharge of £20 per person for all audience members above the stated maximum . In extreme circumstances and as decided by the Blitz performance manager on-site at the time, we may withhold the performance. In this case full payment will still be due in accordance with these terms and conditions.

Should your party numbers be liable to exceed the above recommendations and maximums, please contact your local Blitz office for advice. iv. Final numbers, if significantly different to item 5 page one of the booking form, should be notified to your Blitz office at least 5 working days prior to the performance. In the event that no notification of numbers is made, Blitz Entertainment Ltd will assume that the number given in item 5 page one of the booking form will be the confirmed number. v. Start times as detailed above in item 7 page one is the time the performance will begin. vi. In the event of the cancellation of a performance due to reasons caused by the client or their representative, a cancellation charge will apply as detailed in viii below. vii. In the unlikely event of a performance being cancelled by Blitz Entertainment for reasons not caused by the client or their representative, all monies paid will be returned. viii. The booking made herein will only become valid and confirmed upon receipt of a fully completed booking form and (if applicable) a deposit as specified in paragraph ix. below. The balance of payment or full payment is due no later than 7 days prior to the performance date unless otherwise agreed. Late payments will be charged interest in accordance with The Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Rate of Interest) (No. 3) Order 2002. Late payments will be subject to an administration fee. Late payments will be also subject to an interest payment at the official dealing rate of the Bank of England (the base rate) + 8%. This interest will be charged and claimed under Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. If a confirmed booking is cancelled, the following charges will apply; · Cancellation up to 4 weeks prior to performance - £200 + VAT. · Cancellation up to 2 weeks prior to performance - £400 + VAT. · Cancellation less than 2 weeks prior to performance – 100% + VAT of agreed fee. · In the event of a cancellation, the person and/or company detailed in box 1 and /or box 2 on page 1 above will be responsible for payment of the appropriate cancellation fee. · In the event of a cancellation where the booking has been made through an agent, The agent will be responsible for payment of the cancellation fee. · There is no charge for the postponement of an event. However in the case of a postponement Blitz will retain the deposit paid which will be carried over to the new agreed date. · There is a maximum limit of one postponement, after which the 100% + VAT cancellation fee becomes payable should the agreed performance not take place. ix. A non refundable deposit of £200 + VAT is required for all performances unless otherwise stated on the returned booking form. Should a performance be cancelled by the client, then the deposit will be forfeited in addition to the cancellation charges mentioned in viii above. x. It is the responsibility of the person making the booking to ensure that a suitable room for changing and to be used as a performance 'base' is made available at the venue. Public or staff toilets are not acceptable. Washing and toilet facilities should be available. xi. The approximate duration of a murder dinner is 2½ to 3 hours. Times of other single performances, Overnight Murders or Murder Weekends may vary. All stage shows are of a fixed duration. xii. The copyright of all materials provided by Blitz Entertainment Ltd, including all plots and storylines is held by Blitz Entertainment Ltd. Photocopying or reproduction in any way of any material is strictly forbidden and is permissible only with the prior written consent of Blitz Entertainment Ltd. Copyright and intellectual property rights held by Blitz Entertainment Ltd include the strict condition that no recording, either audio or video of any kind whether by a camera or other recording device should take place during a performance. In any case where a performance has been filmed or recorded in any way and by any device including mobile or cell telephones the performance may be stopped and the person responsible will be liable to prosecution for breach of copyright. In this case full payment will still be due. The booklets provided by Blitz Entertainment Ltd are for use during the performance and may not be copied in any way. These booklets contain a copyright warning as follows: Protection against unlawful performances of productions is afforded to dramatic authors by means of copyright and intellectual properties law. Under the these laws no public performance or reading of a protected production may be given, either in its entirety or in the form of excerpts, without the prior consent of the owner of the copyright that is, in the case of Blitz productions, Blitz Entertainment Ltd. All documentation used in the furtherance of the business of Blitz Entertainment Ltd is the property of Blitz Entertainment Ltd and all other documentation of any kind whether in paper or electronic form used in any connection with the business of Blitz Entertainment Ltd is protected by Intellectual Property law and international treaties, specifically copyright law and trade mark protection rights, (trade marks not registered in the USA). Any persons, groups firms or companies infringing Blitz Entertainment Ltd copyright will be prosecuted to the full extent the law allows. The copyright laws governing video recording are extremely complex. however it should be noted that any and all blitz productions may not be video recorded by any means for whatever purpose without first obtaining the permission of Blitz Entertainment Ltd. xiii. Blitz Entertainment Ltd cannot accept responsibility for any damage loss or personal injury up to and including death to the client or the clients guests howsoever caused. xiv. The client must accept responsibility for any damage caused to the venue by the client or the client’s guests. xv. Blitz Entertainment Ltd is registered for VAT, Registration No 761 8016 35 VAT must be paid for all services rendered including deposits. xvi. All Blitz Entertainment services and events are subject to availability and may be subject to changes in performance content without notice.. xvii. These terms and conditions will be enforced by legal action.
